Teddy Bear Care Fair @ the Toledo Zoo March 19th

Teddy Bear Care Fair
Does your stuffed pal need a check-up or repairs? Whether you have a teddy bear, a monkey, or an animal never before seen, we'll fix him up until he's fit as a fiddle! And if you're ready to adopt a real live animal pal, the Toledo Area Humane Society will be on hand to help you find just the right cat or dog as they showcase some of their adoptable animals in the museum area. With zoo keeper talks, puppet shows, activities and more, the Teddy Bear Care Fair is one event that's stuffed with fun!

It is theThe Toledo Area Humane Society's mission to lead the community in efforts focused on relieving the suffering of, preventing cruelty to, and providing for humane treatment of animals.”

In TAHS holds many fundraising events to help bring in the funds necessary to fullfill our mission. We rely on the gererousity of sponsors and donors to help make these events sucessful. Each year TAHS
· shelters & cares for over 5,900 animals
· finds permanent homes for animals
· reduces pet overpopulation through spay & neuter programs
· responds to over 2,100 calls of animal cruelty each year

In addition, TAHS has several other programs and services that we provide to the community, including a food assistance program, a Safe Place program and a Forever Friends program. These vital services and programs are supported by the shelter fundraisers, including the FurBall, the Bark in the Park, and the Mutt Show. None of these would be possible without the commitment of individuals and companies in our area. We receive no city, state or federal funding or monies from national humane organizations.

There is always a need for sponsorships and in-kind donations.
